Genece! Started dreads around September 12 , I’ve gotten recommendation to see her to start the process along with my wife and I most say I’ve never seen such a beautiful transformation , while under the care of such a passionate ,loving stylist!! First booth to the left that’s genece. Wish I could show pictures of her work , but she had a instagram and facebook . I definitely recommend her to brief you on the process.

Kinks Couture is extremely unprofessional and unreliable. Too many times have I scheduled appointments for my children and they cancel on you last last minute and the stated reason will be "Your son's appointment is the only one she has for the day, so what's the point for her to drive all the way here?" Who says that to a customer? Today, I had an appointment scheduled one week in advance for my daughter. Yesterday I received a phone call asking for her to come earlier, and I said we can't do that because we have to work. Then this morning, I got a phone call cancelling my appointment and the stated reason is that "the stylist had an emergency." Yeah right. They are unprofessional. They require a deposit that you will lose if you cancel your appointment at the last minute, but offer you nothing when they cancel on you at the last minute. Seems like they value their own time more than they value their customers.

People look no further!!! If you have locs, this is the place to be. Michale was my stylist today for the first time. My services including interlocking, grey coverage color, deep steam treatment, and updo style. I was well taking care of and was very relaxed. My hair came out amazing to my liking and taste. I left feeling happy and confident that I will be return for my future appointments. The salon has uplifting ambiance, clean and great customer service. Michale is knowledgeable and very personable. All other stylist are pleasant and greeted me with a smile. Oh, did I mention affordable and open everyday to include Sundays!! Now, where can you find that?!!

My experience at the salon was fine, but I didn’t get much direction on how to maintain my blow out at home. I ended up having to wear a ponytail. I may start getting relaxers again after this experience. The blow out costs as much as a relaxer, but did not last. I was very disappointed.

I can't say enough about my stylist M. Jackson. She's professional and always starts on time. She has been styling my natural hair for over a year she has even done my mother. Her work is always neat and long lasting. She has also installed foe locks for me. Although typically she styles my natural hair in a braided updo or mohawk. As far as the location it's always clean, well kept and the stylists are professional and the environment is very peaceful. My only caveat is that you must make appointments in advance as all the stylists become booked very quickly. Additionally do not make appointments you have no intention of keeping because it will prevent others from filling that space. Lol 😆

Michale has done my hair 2x in the past 2 months & I have absolutely loved it EACH time. She has done cornrows & two strand twists each time. She works quick, has great conversation while doing my hair, and is very gentle with my hair. I will continue to book with her. Thank you Michale❤️

I came in after scheduling an appointment with Kinks Culture over the phone. Soon as I walked in I told the lady on the counter that I had an appointment and she handled everything for me directed me to the right people and got my box braids done with a very nice, gentle on the hair and kind hairstylist named Carol most definitely would come back personally and I would recommend Kinks Culture if you’re looking for a spot to do box braids.I must add as a first time customer of the hair salon I came out satisfied with the job Carol has done to my hair. I must add one last thing as the only Latino in here I felt very welcomed and treated with respect so most definitely come to Kinks Culture. 🙏💯❤️

Daphne did a GREAT job with my hair! I came in early and she entertained me with vivid conversation for many hours. She was very joyful and pleasant to talk to. She is amazing with kids and talked to many of the ones that came in with ease. I got Senegalese twists and she did an EXCELLENT job!! I would definitely recommend her and would come back again. -Kaitlyn
